GREEN MACHINES is a concept that was generated by Toby Tierman of the Impact Media Group Santa Cruz Ca. and Michael Leeds Automotive Artist - The idea was to create a T.V. Pilot to air in the mainstream to awaken and inspire the general public around pressing enviornmental issues - The GREEN MACHINE runs on ‘Green Fuels’ and visits individuals and groups all over America making ‘Green Changes’ in the way we think, act, and do business

FIRST,  we aquired a relic 1950 Peterbuilt Narrow Nose Dump - The first year of the all aluminum cab

SECOND, we found a qualified man to do the primary build - Chop the Top, Fabricate the Chassis and Driveline - Legendary Hotrod and Semi-Truck builder BILL MORHMAN, Scotts Valley Ca. - Shown here with Steve Neale whom the ’50 Pete’ came from - Neal worked our doner truck for decades

A concept sketch and a Revell plastic model helps to get our minds around the project

This plastic model is actually the later model ‘Pete’ with the wider grill - We used the earlier ‘Pete’ style, what they call the ‘Narrow Nose Pete’

The front Rockwell axle is solid cast aluminum alloy and came off a 1980’s firetruck

Spring perch, radius rods and drag-link hooked up and we’re almost ready to run

REAR FRAME AND AXLE ASSEMBLY  Specialty Truck Parts in San Jose Ca. were one of our sponsors - Parts salvaged from many different retired Semi Trucks were joined together ‘as one’

BILL - a BIG machinery type of guy

He really wanted to drive, what he nicknamed ‘Gordo’ in the local Scotts Valley Parade - Here we go

Aluminum Splash Aprons built at Donny Housman’s shop in Watsonville Ca. really bring up the ‘anty’
